Architecture

The course of study in architecture prepares students for the architectural profession. Higher graduates receive a broad-based education which will pay off in the professional market. The programme of study in the field of architecture is taught in the first and second degree programmes (S1 and S2). The programme covers a wide range of design, engineering and artistic subjects, including urban regeneration, parametric design and urban management. Upon completion of the first degree, the student obtains the title of BSc in architectural engineering. This entitles him or her, among other things, to obtain the building permit to design in a limited scope in the architectural specialisation.

A graduate of the second degree programme obtains the title MSc in architectural engineering. He/she will be able to perform an independent technical function in the construction industry, he/she will be entitled, among other things, to obtain the construction licence to design without limitations in the architectural specialisation. The graduate of the course of study in architecture obtains broad interdisciplinary knowledge that provides many opportunities on the labour market and enables him or her to undertake professional work in many areas related to architecture, engineering, the investment process and art.
