The future follows the form.
The motto of the Faculty of Architecture is an awareness of the future challenges of the world we live in. How we shape and will shape our environment - interiors, buildings, and ultimately cities and landscape - will determine our future. Architecture is the art of shaping the human living environment, i.e. creating a built space that serves people. Architecture combines engineering sciences and fine arts. The tool of expression of architectural creation is design. The designs of the applied arts, architecture and urban planning are concerned with a very broad spectrum of issues - aesthetic, functional, technical, technological and social issues. This is what we create at the Faculty of Architecture! An architect has the extensive knowledge of construction, and at the same time has the manual skills to express his or her ideas in the form of drawings, models or virtual reality. The architectural profession enjoys public confidence. An architect creating close and distant environment, thus he or she creates the form of our future. All this history is happening here at the Faculty of Architecture - be a part of it!
